Reps to conduct comprehensive audit of four refineries

The House of Representatives, on Wednesday, unveiled plans to conduct a comprehensive audit of funding of the four refineries.

The resolution was passed sequel to the adoption of a motion sponsored by Hon Onofiok Luke, who expressed grave concern over the state of refineries.

Recall that the Federal Executive Council (FEC) had last Wednesday approved $1.5 billion (about N600 billion) for the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt refinery.
