Manchester City Football Club has described the dedication and service of the late UK monarch, Queen Elizabeth who died on Thursday at the age of 96 as exemplary.
A statement issued on the club’s Twitter handle read: “Manchester City wishes to express its sincere condolences to The Royal Family following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
“Her Majesty’s dedication and service have been exemplary and we join our country and the Commonwealth in mourning her loss.”
