Precious Cornerstone University gets pioneer student union leaders

Precious Cornerstone University (PCU) Ibadan has elected a nine-member committee to serve as its pioneer student leaders.

PCU is a faith-based institution which is owned by The Sword of the Spirit Ministries and presided over by Bishop Francis Wale Oke, is currently in its third academic year.

The institution’s students body tagged Central Executive Committee (CEC) saw Ayorinde Obisesan of the Department of Business Administration, emerge as the President.

At the swearing-in ceremony which had the VC, Prof Kola Oloke; the Registrar, Dr Afolabi Pedetin and the management of the university In attendance, Olayiwola Abidemi became the Vice President.

Other members of the committee include Oni Oghenetaya as the General Secretary; Oparaji Esther, the Assistant General Secretary; Ajetunmobi Mobola, the PRO, and Covenant Yohanna who was elected the Sports Director.

While Olusesi Boluwatife became the Social Director, Fasonyin Adetoro was elected the Treasurer and Afolabi Ayangejesu, the Auditor.

The Vice-Chancellor appealed to the students to always behave responsibly within and outside the university environment, assuring them of the determination of the institution’s management to give them a solid foundation for the future.
