Oyo govt, Bovas sign 25-year concession agreement on aviation fuel facility

The Oyo State Government has signed a 25-year concession agreement with Bovas and Company Limited for the 500,000-litre aviation fuel storage and dispensing facility installed by the government at the Ibadan Airport.

This was revealed in a statement by the Oyo state government on Thursday.

According to the statement, the Director General of OYSIPA, Tilewa Folami signed the agreement on behalf of the government and stated that the agreement is part of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration’s plan to upgrade the airport to international standard.

The aviation tank farm has a total of three (3) tanks comprising two (2) 200,000 litres tanks and one (1) 100,000 litres tank, totalling 500,000 litres of aviation fuel storage.
