Scarlet Gomez
Actress Scarlet Gomez who played Wura Amoo-Adeleke in the first Nigerian Telenovela series revealed that having to play the character is quite a challenging one for her because she and Wura are two separate personalities.
A visibly emotional Scarlet said in an interview with Showmax, “I fear that I am beginning to like Wura and that is not just who I am.”
She further explained that she is emotionally expressive as opposed to her character.
“It is quite hard to separate myself from the character, Wura, and that is so emotional for me.
“No one knew the emotions I was feeling on set. Only my husband knew, God bless his soul. He would call me every day to ensure that I was fine.”
She however warned that people should look forward to when Wura Amoo-Adeleke will breakdown emotionally in coming episodes.
