My husband’s bleeding problem

Published by

Last week my husband began to scream and shout before throwing up a lot of blood. This was quite alarming and it left me wondering if this was something serious. Afterward, he seemed to be feeling better but I am still concerned and want to know what may have caused him to vomit so much.

Bleeding from the mouth can be a sign of various medical conditions, some of which can be serious or even life-threatening. It’s possible that your husband may have burst a blood vessel in his throat or suffered an injury to his mouth or throat as a result of the shouting and screaming. It’s also possible that he may have an underlying medical condition that needs to be diagnosed and treated. It is also important to know if he had been drinking alcohol prior to the yelling? It sounds like a gastritis but he could have torn a blood vessel and should have this checked out as you would need to describe the blood color and what it generally looked like. You need to be able to have your husband tell the doctor what exactly happened. It’s important not to delay seeking medical attention in this case. Please contact your healthcare provider or go to the nearest emergency room as soon as possible.
