The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the registration for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) would begin from Saturday, 14th January, to Tuesday, 14th February 2023.

The Board announced the dates for its activities for 2023 after a management Meeting held on

Registration for Direct Entry (DE) applicants would commence later from Monday, 20th February, till Thursday, 20th April, due to the need for them to upload additional documents.

The Board will conduct an optional mock UTME exam this year on Thursday, 16th March 2023.

The mock exam will attract a service charge fee of N1000, payable to the CBT centres, to show the candidate’s commitment to attending the examination and protect the centre from liabilities due to the absence of a candidate.

Also, the Board, after considering its other commitments, fixed Saturday, 29th April 2023, for the conduct of the 2023 UTME, which is expected to end on Monday, 12th May 2023.

The Board advises all candidates who desire to register for the 2023 UTME to immediately embark on creating their respective profiles ( creation of profile code) ahead of the formal commencement of the registration exercise to avoid being caught up in any next bottleneck.
