I have been having itching on my private part for almost 4 to 6 months. Although I went for a test and took the medicines prescribed by the Pharmacist, the itching has still persisted. Kindly let me know what else I should do.

Since your previous tests and treatment have not been of much help, you may need to visit another Laboratory where a vagina swab would be taken from you. The examination would confirm the type of infection you have including the type of drugs to use. In addition to this, all your sexual contacts (if any) should also be treated. An improvement in your personal hygiene as well as avoidance of unhygienic public toilets will go a long way in avoiding a recurrence.
