Interest rates to moderate on N182.86bn T-Bills maturities

There are expectations that pressure will ease as there will be treasury bills worth N182.86 billion that will mature this week, hence, dealers expect interest rates to moderate.

Traders’ sentiment, according to market participants, will be influenced by the T-bills auction result in the course of the new week.

Others anticipate a moderation in the 364-day T-bill rate, leading to an increase in local OTC (over-the-counter) bond prices and a decrease in yields during the week.
