I am a 20 -year- old female undergraduate. Although, I am doing well in my studies, I am very sad because despite all my efforts to put on some weight, I am thin as a rake. I am so flat that I don’t use any brassiere neither do I have anything to call buttocks. What can I do?

Before thinking of putting on weight, you must find out if your parents or siblings also have the same stature as you in case your type of stature runs in the family. If this is the case, then you will find it difficult or actually impossible to put on weight. If this is not the case, then, the best way to put on weight is to increase your food intake especially the body-building types such as carbohydrates from foods such as Yam, Cassava, Bread, among others. It is also important to complement these food items with nutritious soups and other protein items such as Milk, Eggs among others. Above all, try and appreciate your stature and make the best of it.
