Music artiste, Spyro, has shared the story of his battle with despair that made him almost drop his music career. This revelation comes just days after he clinched the Afrimma (African Muzik Magazine Awards) Award, marking an important moment in his journey.
Spyro, known for his hits and performances, opened up about the dark period in his life when he contemplated ending his music career. He disclosed that during this trying time, it felt as though his dreams were slipping away.
Spyro explained that he used to watch award shows like Afrimma on television years ago, dreaming of one day gracing their stages. However, as he faced setbacks and obstacles in his career, he found himself at a crossroads.
“When my back hit the ground, I felt like ending it all,” Spyro revealed, highlighting the pressure and challenges he encountered on his path to success.
Spyro stated that his journey from the brink of despair to an Afrimma Award winner would serve as a testament to resilience and determination in the competitive world of music.
“I want to keep using my story to remind the people or anyone who may find himself or herself in the situation I found myself some years back not to give up. There may be attempts to give it a thought but giving up is not an option. I want people to know that even in our darkest moments, success can be achieved through perseverance and self-belief,” he said.
As the music industry applauds Spyro’s recent accolade and his courage in sharing his personal struggle, fans eagerly anticipate what new musical heights he will reach in the future.
