Hajj 2024: Take advantage of deadline extension, Kaduna agency advises intending pilgrims

The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency welcomes the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s (NAHCON) decision to extend the Hajj 2024 registration deadline to January 31, 2024.

It said the extension was in line with the call from religious leaders and stakeholders for wider participation in the holy pilgrimage.

The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Malam Salihu S. Abubakar, made this known in a press statement signed by the spokesperson of the agency, Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi, in Kaduna on Wednesday.

Malam Salihu called on all intending pilgrims in the state to seize this opportunity and complete their Hajj deposit before the new deadline expires.

“The extension provides valuable time for those who have not registered to fulfil their dream of performing Hajj.”

He reminded intending pilgrims that registration can only be done through designated registration officers in all 23 local government areas of the state.

“To initiate the process, intending pilgrims should obtain a customised bank teller from these officers before making their deposit’, he added.

He said that the agency is committed to providing all necessary support and guidance to ensure a smooth and successful Hajj experience for all intending pilgrims, and he urged everyone considering Hajj 2024 to act quickly and make use of this extended timeframe.
