Gambari’s appointment: Right peg in right hole ― Buhari Campaign Organisation

Buhari Campaign Organisation has congratulated Professor Ibrahim Gambari on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The organisation, in a statement issued by its North East Coordinator, Dr Abiso Kabir, expressed optimism that Gambari would bring his experience of decades to bear in his new national assignment.

Dr Kabir described Gambari’s appointment as the “right peg in the right hole”.

He added that the Professor would bring to bear his scholarly intellect, international network, professional and administrative experience in ensuring the smooth running of the office of the president.

According to him: “Professor Gambari comes to this job with huge credentials, one of which is his versatile experience in conflict prevention and resolution, an experience that we hope he will bring to bear in performing his duties to assist the president in the continued peaceful resolution and development of Nigeria.

“The appointment is most deserving and timely. We pray the Almighty Allah to guide and protect Professor Gambari on this national assignment and to not stop his blessings and protection for President Muhammadu Buhari whose administration continues to impact positively in the lives of the masses.

“There couldn’t have been a better candidate considering the track record of Professor Ibrahim Gambari in his previous national and international assignments, especially as minister of external affairs, under-Secretary of the United Nations and permanent representative to the United Nations,” he added.
