Deputy Speaker felicitates First Lady, Remi Tinubu at 63

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has extended felicitations to the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her 63rd birthday, coming up tomorrow, September 21, 2023.

Hon. Kalu conveyed his congratulatory message through his Special Assistant on Press Affairs, Udora Orizu.

He described the President’s wife as a source of inspiration and a pillar of support for many, particularly women and youth.

The Deputy Speaker reminisced about the First Lady’s dedication to youth and women’s empowerment, evident through her notable projects.

He highlighted her commitment from her time as the First Lady of Lagos State to her tenure in the parliament as a Senator and presently as the First Lady of Nigeria.

He commended Mrs Tinubu for her dedication and compassion for humanity, emphasising her critical role in the growth and development of Nigeria.

Recalling the First Lady’s tenure in parliament, the Deputy Speaker acknowledged her legislative contributions to national growth, showcasing her visionary leadership.

He expressed pride in her achievements during her time in the Senate and urged her to continue setting examples for women in leadership and governance.

Kalu also commended her for being a strong support and partner to her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the ruling party. He extended his best wishes to the First Lady for many more years of good health.
