Bauchi Gov approves appointment of 17 special advisers

Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has approved the appointment of distinguished, highly accomplished and dedicated professionals to serve as his special advisers.

This is in order to re-invigorate the machinery of government and further strengthen the administration’s commitment to delivering on its promises and enhancing good governance and providing guidance and support in key areas of Government operations.

The appointees are expected to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to bear on their respective roles with a view to ensuring that the state government can effectively address the diverse needs of its citizens.

The newly appointed Special Advisers and their respective portfolios are as follows: Dr. Ahmed Adamu Chiroma- Special Adviser, Chief Security Adviser, Security; Hon. Bakoji Aliyu Bobbo – Special Adviser State& National Assembly Liaison; Mr. Abdon D. Gin – Special Adviser Civil Service matters; Hajiya Zainab A.D Rufa’i – Special Adviser, NGO’s and Hon. Adamu Manu Soro – Special Adviser, Housing.

Also appointed are: Dr. Asmau Ahmed Giade – Special Adviser, Culture & Tourism; Hashimu Yakubu Kumbala –
Special Adviser, General Service & Administration; Senator Mohammed Bello – Special Adviser, Multilateral Services; Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde, Special Adviser- Local Government Affairs and Engineer Mahmood Abubakar – Special Adviser Engineering & Projects.

Others are: Shehu Wadaji – Special Adviser Pilgrims Affairs; Monica Musa- Special Adviser, Poverty Alleviation; Surv. Yohanna Yashi- Special Adviser, Lands & Survey; Dr. Iliyasu Aliyu Gital-Special Adviser, Agriculture; Adamu Babayo Gabarin Special Adviser, Health; Alh. Abdullahi Bello Badejo, Special Adviser, Farmers & Herders Matters and Adamu Zakari- Special Adviser, Education.

The appointments take immediate effect.
