Are s3x toys safe?

I am a widow who doesn’t want to remarry. I also don’t want to have sex outside marriage in line with my faith. A friend suggested the use of sex toys to assuage my sexual urges. I want to know if these toys are safe. I also want to know if I will not be committing any sin by using them?

The use of sex toys which has been on for a long time in Western countries has recently become popular in developing countries. Although their use is still very controversial on moral and religious grounds, their use is safe when used in moderation and kept clean. Otherwise, their use can pass on ‘Sexually Transmitted Infections’ (STIs) and other infections especially when they are shared with others. You will need to check with your religious institution regarding the position of your faith in the use of masturbation to satisfy sexual urges.
