Ansar-Ud-Deen’s ex-national organising secretary, Kilani, extolled

Published by

ALHAJI Ibrahim Kilani is a selfless, hardworking, resourceful and devoted Muslim leader who served the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria (ADS) creditably and diligently for 34 years as a national officer.

The ADS president, Alhaji Abdul Rafiu Sanni, made this remark during a courtesy visit to Kilani, who is the immediate past national organising secretary of the organisation, at his residence in Arigidi Akoko, Ondo State.

The courtesy call was part of Sanni’s visit to Ondo State in continuation of the ADS’ centenary celebration, the grand finale of which is coming up in December.

Sanni commended what he described as the religious peace in Ondo State, saying he was also impressed with what he saw earlier in Ekiti State.

In a remark, Alhaji Kilani thanked the ADS president for finding the time to visit him despite his tight schedule.

Kilani said the ADS under Sanni’s leadership had done a lot to promote quality education at all levels in the country.

He said it was remarkable that the organisation had remained united for the past 100 years despite the odds.
