It’s a season of landmark achievements and honour for the Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc, Ebenezer Onyeagwu, as he was recently conferred with a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
The recognition as described by the foremost institution was for his immense achievements with Zenith Bank and his contribution to the growth of the financial sectors in Nigeria and Africa as a continent.
The Vice Chancellor of UNN, Professor Charles Igwe, during the ceremony thanked Onyeagwu for distinguishing himself in his career and for his service to humanity which qualified him for the prestigious Doctorate Degree.
The elated banker in his acceptance speech thanked the University for finding him worthy of such honour, as he promised to do more and keep the light burning.
Other recipients of the doctorate degrees include the former Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan, Chairman of Horbark International, Obiora Fubara and retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Justice Mary Odili.
