Published by

Commemorating its 12 years of expanding brands globally and organizing major events in and outside Nigeria, a United State-based PR and marketing firm, with a branch in Nigeria, Ovacom media has decided to kick-start its festivity by visiting the Erelu Adebayo Children’s Home in Iyin-Ekiti to lend a helping hand to the needy.

The agency which clocks 12 years on Sunday, 26th July, was represented at the event by its Nigerian Manager, Ekpeta Augustine Rhedo, popularly known by the name DJ Rhedo. This according to him was to give back to the society most especially, those in need.

Items such as bags of rice, packs of noodles, soft drinks, bottle water, tissue paper, groundnut oil and many more other items were donated to the orphanage. Founder, Ovacom media, Victoria Adigun speaking with Saturday Tribune on why they have decided to pick Ekiti State as a point of contact for such an event said: “this week we are celebrating our 12 years anniversary this week and in other to kick-of the celebration, I thought it would be imperative that we do a charity event this year.

“So when I heard about the Erelu Adabayo Children’s home, I felt it works with our mandate, which is part of our cooperate and social responsibilities, which is part of philanthropy and I love kids. So I thought why not? And since my manager, DJ Rhedo is based in Ekiti State, I felt why not connect with the people directly? This is part of what we have been known with over the years. This is just the beginning of many more philanthropist works to come, as it is going around Nigeria and around the world in the near future.”

Ovacom media has over the years worked with several celebrities including Toyin Lawani, Jaiye Kuti, Olu Maintain and so on. They have also worked with several organizations and prominent business owners in Nigeria and in the Diaspora and by this, have been able to expand and be one of the leading international PR firms in America.
