Despite the threat of the Osun State police command that #EndSARS protests would be resisted in the state, Scores of youths, on Monday, still went ahead to hold a protest in Osogbo, the state capital.
The protesters who staged the protest under the aegis of “Face of EndSARS movement”, took to major streets of Osogbo, the state capital in a civil way to stage their protest.
They organised themselves in a formidable group and even marched to the state House Of Assembly where they requested to be addressed by the leadership of the Assembly.
Speaking with newsmen, their leader, Emmanuel Adebisi, said they are not hoodlums but cultured individuals who want better things for the youths in the country.
Adebisi stated that it is unfortunate that, those at the corridor of powers in the country do not have the interest of the governed at their hearts.
