The tide seems to have turned for singer Iyanya and his former boss, Ubi Franklin, as they have decided to bury the hatchet between them and reunite after five years of separation.
Just last week, the Kukere singer was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant, Tourism and Entertainment in Cross River State.
In a statement released by Ubi as he’s fondly called, the record label TripleMG, recounted that it’s been five years since their separation, adding that “they parted ways in order to explore life differently, though in the same niche, through various spheres and this birthed a defining purpose which has made them take the decision to come back together as one force and one body.”
The statement stated further that “they are ready to take over the world of music and the entertainment industry at large.”
The record label did not fail to appreciate those who have made efforts to ensure that the reunion is a reality.
This reunion is believed to be an opportunity for Iyanya to redeem himself by taking on the challenge of releasing songs that will place him back on the world map of music artistes and entertainers as well as gaining back the love and support he once enjoyed from fans and lovers of his music.
