Whitemoney, Pretty Mike, others set to launch 37-year-old restaurant in Lagos

The 2021 Big Brother Icon, Whitemoney, Pretty Mike, Obafemi Martins, Pere and other celebrities are set to launch Iya Yusuf Restaurant on the 28 of November, 2021, in Lagos.

The over 37-year-old restaurant, which has earned accolades from different parts of the country, like Kwara, Abuja, UNI-Ilorin specialises in the local Nigerian dishes like Amala and other dishes.

While speaking on this development, the Managing Director of Iya Yusuf, Yusuf Olatunji Owoyemi, said that enormous clamour for the restaurant in Lagos heralded its branch extension.

Yusuf cited the case of a popular actor, Funsho Adeolu questioning the non-existent of the restaurant in the state.

Olatunji explained that the food business is not specifically for the rich but for all and sundry considering its affordability and availability for all.

The MD, who said the business is majorly into Amala, noted that the economic condition is harsh but that does not commit them to downsize the quality of the restaurant.

He explained that customers would be badly affected and consequently rob off the growth of the business if the company decides to reduce its quality as a result of the current unfavourable situation.

“Iya Yusuf is majorly known with Amala. We have other foods. The way it is now was not the way it used to be. It was just a joint a corner. But now, we are trying to modernise it.

“We are coming to Lagos because of the general clamour for it. Just recently, popular actor, Funsho Adeolu spoke at an event and he said he wished Iya Yusuf was in Lagos.

“We are not serving the rich people only but everyone from different walks of life because of its affordability,” he said.
