Entertainers Nancy Isime, Uti Nwachukwu, VJ Adams and Samantha Walsh flocked into the city of Abuja as Heineken hosted them to an exclusive viewing event, in celebration of the UEFA Champions League final on May 29.
Hosted by e-sports fanatic and media personality, VJ Adams, the UCL event saw fans and consumers enjoy the best of Champions League football while enjoying other attractions.
According to VJ Adams, “Heineken has created the ultimate football experience through this campaign and what a way for it to end. It has been delightful being part of every phase of the ‘Never Watching Alone’ campaign and I must say, I’ve been refreshed by unique engagement opportunities the brand has driven through me.”
A regular feature in the entertainment space and an avid football fan, the experience was a pleasure for Uti Nwachukwu, whose bubbly personality shone through as he joined fans in watching the hotly contested UCL final between Manchester City and Chelsea.
He said, “Being part of this campaign has been a fantastic experience. Not only did I get to enjoy these engagements through Heineken, but also interact with different football fans from different walks of life who share the same passion which is football. It was a rewarding experience!”
Nancy Isime, also an influencer on the campaign, expressed delight at the conclusion of the campaign. “This has been a very exciting period for me. It has been an absolute pleasure interacting with the fans every step of the way and making sure they got rewarded for their undying passion for football. Of course, this would not have been possible without my friends at Heineken, who put this incredible campaign together,” she said.
As the celebrities enjoyed the ultimate viewing experience from Heineken offline, they simultaneously drove engagement activities for the fans online, indulging them in one last social media challenge and rewarding their passion for football.
