Founder, Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Unification Church and Former Member, House of Representatives, Apostle Dave Salako has said that the church has reinforced the coronavirus protocols again as the third wave seems to be rearing its ugly head.
Apostle Dave made this known to Tribune Church in a telephone conversation, on Thursday, while explaining that the church initially thought the curve had been successfully flattened until its recent development; hence, the need to realise that it is not yet uhuru.
Meanwhile, the two-time former member, House of Representatives advised that every church and mosque should be careful and enforce full compliance of the protocols as people are yet to understand the implications because “some have returned back to clubbing and other social activities.
“So, we have reinforced the protocols again even as we continue to preach that they should not stop observing the protocols.
“When the curve started flattening, we thought that we were getting freedom from the pandemic. But, with the recent development, we concluded that it is not yet uhuru until we are sure it is gone forever.
“In our church at Cherubim and Seraphim, we are complying with the directives by observing the protocols-such as wearing of face masks, the sitting distance of 2metres, use of alcohol-based sanitiser and other measures to ensure that none of the members fall victim to the virus and also protecting the state and the country generally.
“Every church and mosque should be careful as people are yet to understand the implications of the virus because they have gone back to clubbing,” Apostle Dave said.
