The chairman Taraba State Civil Service Commission, Elder Chief. John Mamman has denied the sales of civil service jobs opportunity to citizens by the state government as being alleged.

Mamman described the allegation as political rumour against the progress of governor Darius Ishaku for Taraba State.

The CSC Chairman explained that the N3000 been collected by his Commission is a mandatory fee for sales of application forms as amended in the Taraba State government law of 1991.

“We are not selling jobs for anybody, governor Darius Ishaku means well for the progress of Taraba State.

“This allegation is coming from some unprogressive minded politicians who are doing all they could to tarnish the image of Governor Darius Ishaku.

“The N3000 been portrayed as buying of job in the ongoing Taraba State recruitment exercise is a mandatory fee for application forms as amended in the civil service law of Taraba State 1991.

“The exercise is going to be transparent as directed by governor Darius Ishaku. We do not, and we are not going to carry out such corrupt practice in Taraba State,” The CSC chairman explained.

Tribune Online reports that the song for the sales of civil service job opportunity in the ongoing Taraba State Civil Service recruitment exercise broke out last week is gradually becoming threat to the government of governor Darius Ishaku, as youth of the state have threatened mass protest against the development.
