The recently held nationwide crusade organised by the founder and General Overseer of the World Evangelism Bible Church Incorporated (WEBIC) and renowned cleric, Prophet (Dr.) Samson Ayorinde has come and gone, but the memory still lingers as thousands of people trooped out to be saved and experience the mighty hand of God through healing.
Tribune Church gathered that the crusades held in Agege and Ikorodu in Lagos as well as Ilorin, Kwara State capital respectively, were one of the main visions of Prophet Ayorinde as part of his effort to reignite the spiritual fire of the Church, populate the kingdom of God and liberate lives.
According to the notable cleric, the crusade had once been suspended as a result of the restrictions occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic, but God eventually made it manifest and became the talk of the town as major testimonies of healing and breakthroughs resulted from the events.
According to him, WEBIC’s mission is to win souls through revivals and powerful crusades, setting the captives free and raising heaven-bound disciples.
“At the Agege crusade, many people were healed of diverse diseases. Prominent among them was a man, one Mr. Taiwo, who came there in crutches. He had been using them for eight years as a result of two accidents he had, but God healed him with a prophetic prayer while (I was) ministering. The man came to the WEBIC headquarters in Ogudu, Ojota, Lagos, for thanksgiving and share his testimony with the congregation.
Tribune Church gathered that the Ikorodu edition was the highpoint as the venue, Italewa Playing Ground played a host to worshippers from all walks of life as many souls gave their lives to Christ at the four-day crusade.
People of Ilorin and neighbouring towns in Kogi State, also experienced the manifestation of the power of God through the ministration of Prophet Ayorinde, as scores of people received healing at the crusade held between December 5 and 8.
“Our nationwide crusade is moving to Abuja in February next year. Plans have also been concluded to host another crusade in Ogudu, Lagos in March and we will move to Badagry in April 2022. This is the primary assignment God has given us, especially church leaders, to propagate the gospel and win souls for Christ. I am resolute on this mission because I have God’s backing,” Ayorinde said.
Speaking on the development of the ministry recorded in the outgoing year, Prophet Ayorinde expressed his gratitude to God who made the 26th anniversary of the church tagged, “Mantle 2021” possible and to launch the WEBIC constitution, policies, Sunday School Book, which covers one year, noting that, “the development is part of the rebranding of the church to meet up with the challenges in the society. Also, my wife, Prophetess Mercy Ayorinde, is playing a major role in the church as the co-founder, who is in charge of women looking for the fruits of the womb and there have been a series of testimonies of fruitfulness among women to the glory of God.”
