Wale Oke, Christ’s crusader at 65

BISHOP Francis Wale who is the founder and the presiding Bishop of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries,aka Christ Life Church, is the Chancellor of the Precious Cornerstone University, Ibadan, Oyo State. The popular clergyman who’s a well-bred teacher, an evangelist and a prophet, among other callings, is the current and the 7th National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), having been unanimously elected on Tuesday,2nd March,2021,in Enugu,Enugu State. Born on Saturday, September 8, 1956, in Kasumu village, Ibadan, the graduate of engineering from the University of Lagos began his voyage in kingdom’s work when he answered the call of God in December, 1975.

Divinely raised and anointed by God for mass evangelism (with a target of winning 100 million souls for Jesus Christ), church planting and raising of believers across the world, Bishop Wale Oke stepped into full time Ministry on Monday, 17th May, 1982, after the completion of his university education. The renowned cleric, hosts a daily broadcast of Voice of the Lord on some radio and television stations in Nigeria. In furtherance to reaching the unreached, he has availed himself of the various social media platforms where he daily shares the word of God, especially since the advent of Covid-19. To this end, on Monday, June 8,2020, he flagged off a-10 minutes daily broadcast on Instagram (@franciswalaoke) between 6am-6:10am. Between then and now, over 30 million people around the world, have watched him preach with different testimonies trickling in on a daily basis.

Wale Oke has not only held mass crusades across Nigeria and many African nations; he has equally flown the banner of Jesus Christ by preaching the gospel in many other parts of the world such as Europe, Asia, North, American, Russia and Eastern Europe, among others. Aside being the President of the International Bible College of Ministries and Seminary (IBCOMS) and the Prelate College of Bishops, the-now 66 years old highly revered man of God, is also the Chairman, His Kingdom House Publishers, all based in Ibadan.  Married to Victoria Tokunbo and blessed with two children; Dorcas and Isaac, Bishop Wale who has been hosting yearly Holy Ghost Convention since 1983, has authored many bestselling books such as Alone With God, Walking in God’s Covenant, The Precious Blood of Jesus, Stepping into Greatness and Weapons of our Warfare, among others.
