Vulnerability of uncontrolled POS business

Published by

I am of the opinion that government should scrap or control the influx of POS operators across the country. Though POS is quite accessible and capital friendly, making it very easy for the common man to start and also helping people to do financial transactions without the stress of going to the bank, it has also made many people that withdraw or send money through this channel vulnerable to the antics of fraudsters who seem to grow in number daily.

They have turned a good venture into a evil machinery and an avenue to dupe their fellow men. I hereby urge the Federal Government and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to scrap this business activity or mandate security agencies to monitor the operations in order to reduce incessant activities of criminals.

Akanni Oke Matthew,

 Saki.
