Voting in Kogi central peaceful ― Ohiare

Voting in the Kogi Senatorial district of Kogi State commenced at about 8 am on Saturday morning as voters trooped out to cast their vote for their respective candidates.

In the Okene local government area, the electorate queued to vote for their respective candidate also in OgoriMangogo, Ajaokuta and Okehi local government areas.

In one of the polling units, in Adavi-Eba, Nuru Islamic Primary School polling 001 and 002, in Adavi local government area, the former Executive Director of Rural Electrification Agency, Dr Sanusi Ohiare cast his votes.

Ohiare who is also the All Progressive Congress (APC), governorship aspirant commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for a good job.

He said the electronic system introduced especially BVAS for the general election is commendable.

He also thanked the electorate for maintaining law and order stressing that so far election is peaceful in Kogi central.
