The prosecutor said the fight started over an argument which ensued between the complainant and the defendants’ father Alhaji Umaru.

The offences contravened Sections 59 and 223 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Section 223 stipulates a three-year jail term for offenders.
Magistrate Umar Ibrahim admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N100, 000 each, with two sureties each, in like sum.
Ibrahim adjourned the case until March 16 for hearing.
