Truth at last

Published by

IN the words of the Buddha, “Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon and the truth.” Also, Uthman Dan Fodio said conscience is an open wound and only the truth can heal it. Members of the Nigeria Governors Forum have now come to the reality that the current centralised structure of the Nigeria Police Force is unsustainable in a federation.

Their collective decision calling for the establishment of the state police is commendable. I hope some of them would not deny this later. Devolution of power to the states should take place before 2023 elections.
