IT was an atmosphere full of tributes and praises to God for a life well spent as the remains of Pastor Emmanuel Folorunsho Abina, the first born of the General Overseer of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT), Pastor (Dr) Elijah O. Abina, were interred on Friday.
At a funeral service held at the International Headquarters’ House of Glory Assembly, Aseese, Ogun State, Bishop of TREM South-West Zone and former chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) South West Zone, Bishop Reuben Olu Oke, admonished the church to follow after David, who had fasted and prayed for his son to be healed but after the death, David comforted himself and set out for the next chapter.
Pastor Folorunsho Abina, who died on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the age of 53, was the pioneer pastor of the Kingdom House Assembly of GOFAMINT, FESTAC, Lagos State.
His first son, Oreoluwa, described his father as one who was very passionate about the things of God.
Speaking on behalf of the siblings, Femi Abina described the late Pastor Folorunsho Abina as someone with passion to change and win the entire world for Christ, as he did this physically and spiritually when he was alive.
According to him, Pastor Folorunsho Abina lived a life well-spent and the church, as well as the family have no regret because his work speaks for him.
The remains were interred at the Gospel City, Ogunmakin, Ogun State, after the burial service.
Pastor Emmanuel Folorunsho Abina was supportive to his father’s ministry and was the media director of the church, a part-time position he took while he also served as the rallying point for the youth in the church.
The deceased is survived by four children and five siblings.
