Tolibian’s career hits limelight

In recent time the Nigerian music industry has witnessed the rise in an influx of a new generation of artistes who have always made it a point of duty to bring in new sounds and a unique touch of creativity in delivering their sounds, and one of such artistes is comedian cum singer, Tolibian.

The fast rising star has become a force to reckon with in the music industry gaining relevance with his unique sounds, creativity and ability to wade through styles of music including Afrobeat,Acapella, Apala amongst others.

Born as Abubakar Abdul Mutilib Ottan, Tolibian who was formerly popular for his comedic skits and feature in a comedy series , “Lawyer kunle Talent Hunt” produced by  popular comedian and instagaram influencer, Cute Abiola which earned him a spot as a signee on the record label, TCA Entertainment.

Having established himself in the comedy industry, Tolibian made an entrance into the music scene in 2019 by releasing his hit single entitled “Abaya palava” which caught the fancy of music lovers in Nigeria and served as a pedestal for his grand launch into the music industry. The song currently has about 2million active plays on streaming platforms including AudioMack and the video which was released on YouTube has recorded 280k views and still counting.

Tolibian who is a graduate of the Kwara State College of Education has since remained in the limelight due to his consistency and staying true to his craft, riding on the wave of the success of his song Abaya Palava, the young star released another sound, “Abortion” which has continued to make waves in the industry to the delight of music lovers.

The singer, according to research continues to show that he is one of the few stars that can successfully switch between careers and remain relevant in both and this has earned him a unique name, “specially chosen”.

Other songs also released by Tolibian include Malaysia, End SARS, A december to remember and so on.
