There is a difference between hardwork and ‘runs’ —Ogbolor

Published by

Popular Nigerian TV host and actor, Michael Uba, most known with his stage name ‘Ogbolor’ has a contrary opinion to people who argue that runs is also hardwork, as he says there is a difference between both and people should know this.

The comedian, who is also a motivational speaker, on his IG story during the week posted that, “There is hardwork and there is ‘runs’, lets know the difference please. Some will still argue that ‘runs’ is also hardwork, lol. Well you know what I mean sha.”

‘Runs’ is another word used to describe prostitution in Nigeria, the Jenifa’s diary star’s opinion sparked a lot of mixed reactions on social media as some disagree with his position about ‘runs’ and hardwork.

A user with the name zayxon_tech on IG in his reaction to Uba’s opinion said: “hardwork comes in all shapes and forms. You think some of these girls enjoy doing it? If this country wasn’t hard, would anyone be doing it?”

“Abeg rest. Some of us na home training and fear of God by doing what is right dey stop us o. Pray you are not in a situation where you have no other choice but to do it. You can’t judge anyone without hearing the backend story, even if you did, Jesus isn’t hiring, mind your business,” another user with the name Mstabs cautioned Uba.
