Tegbe donates relief materials to Araromi auto spare part market fire victims

A chieftain of the All progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and founder of Tegbe foundation, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe on Friday, visited and provided relief to the traders of the Agodi Auto Spare Parts market affected by an inferno by donating millions of naira as palliatives and construction materials in cement and blocks to the market men and women.

Speaking during the visit to sympathize with shop owners and the Baale Araromi Agodi Gate auto spare parts market, Alhaji Waheed Adegoke, Tegbe said: “It is imperative beyond sympathizing and making promises, we begin a relief programme for those directly affected by the fire in Gate Spare Parts market as their lives and daily needs will not be on hold after this sad incident.

“I consider the immediate release of funds from Tegbe Foundation’s Trader Support programme for the market traders here. In addition, Tegbe Foundation will donate building materials towards the reconstruction of an ultramodern market.

“I am committed to the welfare of the people of Oyo State in whatever position I find myself and will continue to do everything within my power to contribute to the socio-economic well being of the people of Oyo State.”

The Baale of the market, Alhaji Waheed Adegoke and the President of the market, Mr Moruf Olanrewaju (Ikire) appreciated Mogaji Tegbe for his timely intervention as they have only received pledges and not actual donations since the sad occurrence.

Recall that Agodi Gate spare parts market was razed by fire in the early hours of Saturday, April 3, 2021, where hundreds of shops were completely destroyed.
