Take decisive actions on insecurity in Nigeria, JIBWIS tasks FG

The Federal Government of Nigeria has been urged to take decisive actions on the spate of insecurity across the country as well as against persons with “questionable character who have never hidden their desire to see the failure and disintegration of Nigeria.”

The call was made by an Islamic organisation, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Bauchi State Chapter as contained in a statement by its Chairman, Barr Garba Hassan, which was made available to journalists on Sunday.

Barr. Hassan stated that: “We call on the Federal Government and security agencies to double their efforts in the area of confronting the various security challenges being faced by the country. Issues having to do with intelligence gathering should be accorded serious attention.”
