The Supreme Court will today bring to an end the eight month legal tussle by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi and his party seeking the nullification of the election of President Bola Tinubu.
The apex court had slated today to deliver judgement in the appeals by Atiku, Obi and their political parties
against the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC), which dismissed their petitions challenging the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
The Supreme Court as at today, allowed life coverage of the judgement in the appeals brought before it by Atiku and Obi, along with their parties.
Present in the court to witness the judgement as at the time of filing this report are the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, Minister of the Federal capital Territory, Nyesom Wike and other party supporters.
