Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Akanbi
The long-awaited summit organised by the Oluwo Of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi in order to end incessant clashes between herders and farmers in Osun State would hold on Tuesday at the Oluwo’s palace.
This was made known in a statement by the Oluwo’s Chief Press Secretary, Alli Ibraheem, in Osogbo on Monday.
The statement stated that Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will be represented by Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Adewole Adedayo as the chairman of the occasion.
According to the statement, the purpose of the submit is to ensure a harmonious relationship between the farmers and herders in the state and to discuss a lasting solution to their clashes.
