As part of their contribution in giving back to the society, Church Organ Projects in Nigeria (ChOPiN), Ikoyi Club and Beloxxi Biscuits have teamed up to engage young ones during the July, August 2021 holiday period with free music classes.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of ChOPiN, Lanre Delano, ChOPiN “believes earnestly in Nigeria’s youths and we keep thinking of ways to contribute our quota to Nigeria’s growth so we decided to collaborate to have summer music classes which was an idea that the Entertainment Chairman, Ikoyi Club, Bolaji Martins embraced and he facilitated the venue.

“Beloxxi Biscuits were magnanimous enough to fully sponsor the event. This will also be another innovative activity of the current leadership of the Ikoyi Club and under the entertainment chairman.”

Also speaking, Obi Ezeude, Chief Executive Officer, Beloxxi Biscuits, said, “We’re an organisation that believes the youths and young ones are the future of the country so when we heard of this music lessons for them, we knew we just had to support it to the best of our ability.”

Delano added that “the classes are for piano, voice, violin, talking drum, conga, horns and they’ll hold at the Rotunda, Ikoyi Club from July 26 to August 16. And there will also be a children’s concert as grand finale to showcase the trained students on Sunday August 22.”

He also concluded by saying there would be free music manuscripts, Beloxxi biscuits and drinks, music theory handouts, group photograph and certificate of attendance for the participating students.
