Erelu Rotiba was honoured with the Distinguished Women of the Year Award at the 5th Afe Babalola Day organised by the Afe Babalola Beneficiary Worldwide

(ABBW) held recently at the ABUAD, Ekiti.

Rotiba’s passion and astuteness in promoting culture, youths development and cross cultural exposition through her different domestic and international tours and travels has earned her relevance as a force to reckon with in her travel package and consultancy business, which she was recognised among Top 100 Tourism Personalities in Nigeria as well as Top 100 women in Tourism Award by the organisers of Akwaaba African Travel Market and Jabamah respectively in Nigeria.

Speaking with Travelpulse&MICE, the Chief Executive of Special Travels and Tours Ltd, Erelu Rotiba said, “the awards have received in recent times has shown that there is dignity in labour and in actual fact, it is a call to service people the more, by doing what we know how to do best.

“I am humbled by the unfolding of things, my awards, my passion for cultural norms and value will increase. The African story is interesting and the Nigeria cultural space is yet to be explore, so with this encouragement, i will intensify more effort to not only double my energy at promoting the revere culture of the Yoruba kingdom and in extension Nigeria and Africa, but i will also mobilise and encourage the young at heart through a catch them young cultural vitality programme.”
