Sokoto Marshall Agency on Thursday arrested and handed over two suspected cattle rustlers to the state Police Command.
Speaking while handing over the suspects, Special Adviser of the agency, Alhaji Bello Malami Tambuwal, said the suspects were arrested along Gande-Katami-Wamakko junction on their way to Sokoto.
Tambuwal said the suspects, during interrogation, said they were conveying the two cows from a forest in Binji local government area.
According to him, both the suspects, the vehicle and cows have now been handed over to the state police command for further investigation.
