macaroni slams sanwo-olu's aide ajetunmobi
Renowned actor and skit maker Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has slammed Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s aide, Wale Ajetunmobi, for insulting him.
The social media tussle began when Ajetunmobi responded to a tweet featuring a picture of Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State embracing Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
Ajetunmobi drew a comparison to Mr Macaroni’s relationship with Governor Sanwo-Olu, describing the comedian’s behavior toward the governor as immature.
Despite Mr Macaroni’s critical stance on Sanwo-Olu’s administration, Ajetunmobi emphasized that the governor still considers him as a son.

He tweeted, “This is the way Gov. Sanwo-Olu has been treating Debo Macaroni despite his childish behavior. Sanwo-Olu will say, ‘he is my son.’ That Macaroni is opposed to his government doesn’t mean the Governor would treat him like an outcast. Humanity before politics.”
In response to this, Mr Macaroni stated that Ajetunmobi was ignorant and disrespectful, asserting that Sanwo-Olu is not doing anyone a favor by being the governor.
Instead, he emphasized that the governor is a public servant accountable to the people of Lagos.
“You are the Childish Ignoramus sir. And you don’t have respect. The Governor who appointed you as SSA works for me!!! He ran for office and swore an oath to serve the people of Lagos. He is not doing me or any other Lagosian a favor,” Mr Macaroni wrote in response.
