Music songstress and Philex Records artiste, Folashade Omolewa Ogunleye, popularly known as SadeBlaq is set to release her latest single titled ‘The One’, featuring pop star, Skales. The new song and video, according to SadeBlaq will be available to fans worldwide online from tomorrow.
“My new song is one bourne out of love and I am excited about it. It’s about finding that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with, loving him or her and being loved in return. Love is a beautiful feeling and when found in truth, can be the best thing to happen to anyone,” she told Tribune Online in a recent chat.
On her choice of Skales, who she featured on the song, she said, “I featured Skales because he is a passionate artiste and merging with him on this song is like merging two fan bases! It is also another form of exposure for me because I am breaking new grounds and exploring new sounds”.
The mid-tempo song sees SadeBlaq and Skales depicted as lovers who have found ‘the one’ and would never let go. SadeBlaq opines that her latest single blends with the season which is about love, sharing, and giving.
Speaking on her Lagos premiere for the song slated for tomorrow, Friday, December 10, she said, “I decided on a premiere for the song and video to interact with my fans and give them a first-hand experience. Holding at EmpireLagos lounge, Lekki, I will share the stage with some of my industry friends to deliver an unforgettable night of music and networking”.
SadeBlaq also has to her credit trending songs like ‘Sade’ (an Adekunle Gold refix), ‘Ojumi rire’, ‘Morounmubo’, among other songs.
