Qatar 2022: Seeing Davido’s performance made me proud as an African — Ghanian Actor, John Dumelo

Popular Ghanian Actor, John Dumelo has expressed his excitement at seeing Nigerian Afro Beats star, Davido perform at the Qatar 2022 World Cup draw on Friday. 

According to the actor who made this known via his verified Twitter handle, seeing Davido perform at the FIFA World Cup stage made him proud as an African.

He wrote: “I’m really happy for Davido. Seeing him perform on stage at the FIFA World Cup event really made me proud as an African.”

It would be recalled that the Nigerian national team, the Super Eagles recently lost out on securing the ticket after losing to their West African neighbours Ghana in the playoffs to the Qatar 2022 World Cup after playing a 1-1 draw on aggregate at both Kumasi and Abuja respectively.
