It is either good music or nothing were the few words prominent in the speech delivered by fast-rising afro pop star, Korede Ibrahim Shogade, popularly known as Prowess as he was unveiled by Big Achievable Dreams (B.A.D) Music on Friday in Lagos.
At the unveiling, the record label based in South Africa but situated in Nigeria said it has followed the music progress of Prowess for some years and it was not hard to decide on what they want from him and what he could bring to the label in terms of music delivery, hence the reason for him to be part of them.
The singer, who assured his new label of his commitment to the vision of the company, said he’s ready to step up his game and give all it takes to push his career and label to the next phase.
With the unveiling of Prowess as the label’s act, the singer is expected to take his music to new heights as the label has promised to back his ambition with whatever it takes for him to emerge one of the most popular young acts changing the music narrative across Africa.
Speaking about what he hopes to bring to the team, Prowess said he would not want to reveal much about his dreams but he revealed that this is an opportunity he has waited for all his life and he would give it away without a fight.
For over three weeks, the label has been the talk of the town with expectations from fans mounting over what Prowess is bringing to the company.
With DAW Empire headed by Dami Adenuga handling the label’s PR and the affairs of Prowess, the journey to greatness may have just begun.
