Problems with masturbation

I have been masturbating since I was a teenager. I am now 26 years of age and about to get married. On the few occasions when I tried to get intimate with my fiancée, I discovered that I discharged even before entering her. Somebody said it was due to my addiction to masturbation. I don’t want these incidences to affect my marriage. Please help.

Masturbation is “the sexual stimulation of one’s own genitals for sexual arousal or other sexual pleasure, usually to the point of orgasm. The stimulation may involve hands, fingers, everyday objects, sex toys or combinations of these.”

Masturbation continues to be controversial. A certain school of thought considers the act as harmless and sinless, as they feel that practitioners of the act stand no risk of contacting any disease, and are of the opinion that they are in no way committing any sin – not fornication and definitely not adultery. Yet, some other people see it as very harmful and sinful. Whatever may be anyone’s opinion on the matter, one thing that stands out is the fact that addiction to masturbation can be very harmful as your case has now shown. Just like many addictive habits, the more you do it, the more your body craves for more for it until it becomes a life habit. Now that you are about to get married, you can bring up the issue with your fiancée and solicit for her support in helping you to get out of the Masturbation trap.
