PR expert, Idris Bello bags City People Recognition Award

For popular Public Relations consultant and content writer, Idris Bello of Emiralty Africa, winning big may not be entirely new to him but when a big recognition comes from a top media brand like City People Media Group; it is surely a thing to celebrate in style.

Popular on the entertainment scene as Emiralty, the young man has continued to play key roles in setting agenda, developing media strategy and pushing actors and actresses in the English and Yoruba movies sectors in good light coupled with his job as a full time lecturer, production consultant, arts researcher.

At the City People Awards held in Lagos, Emiralty bagged a recognition award from CITY PEOPLE MEDIA GROUP amid cheers from friends and family who were part of the celebration.

Bello was presented the award in a ceremony that had key players in the entertainment industry in attendance last Sunday.

He has over the years been committed to documenting, reporting and gate keeping activities in the nation’s entertainment sector, particularly Nollywood.

Bello has at different points served as publicist to high profile actors and marketers, among which are Corporate Pictures, Adebayo Salami, Wumi Toriola, Seyi Edun, Toyin Alausa and Jide Awobona, amongst others.

In his words, “I feel elated that City People Media Group found me worthy to bless me with such a prestigious award for my contributions to the development of Nollywood. I never expected that recognitions would start coming in at this stage of my career because I have always focused on doing the job. This is a big moment in my life and I am grateful to God and the management of City People Group.”
