The Kaduna State Police Command has paraded one Usman Mohammed as one of the kidnappers involved in the abduction of students in Greenfield University, federal college of Forestry Mechanisation Afaka and Bethel Baptist secondary school, all in Kaduna.
An indigene of Bukkuyum in Zamfara State was said to have confessed to the abduction of the students in these schools.
Also paraded are two of the three suspects who participated in the murder of Senator Bala Na’allah’s son, Abdulkarim.
Speaking in a news conference, on Thursday, the Police image-maker, Mohammed Jalige said that out of the three suspected killers of Captain Abdulkarim, two are already in their custody, while one of the suspects is still at large.
He gave the names of the two arrested as Bashir Mohammed, who is a neighbour of Captain Abdulkarim and Nasir Salisu, while the third suspect now at large was identified as Usman Kano.
According to him, the trio conspired and broke into the house of the deceased at Malali, Kaduna where they killed him, saying, in the process, they carted away his SUV and other valuables.
The suspect according to the police spokesman sold the SUV in the Niger Republic at the cost of N1 million.
He said the third suspect is now on the wanted list of the police, assuring that the police are after him and he would soon be apprehended.
