Why we partnered FitFam Fest —Malta Herbs

Published by

Guinness Nigeria has explained that the decision of one of its brands, the Malta Herbs Lite, to participate at the maiden edition of the Fitfam Fest was to demonstrate the brand’s compliance with the recent NAFDAC/SON statute, regarding new guidelines for low, light and regular malt drinks.

The FitFam Fest, a fitness and beauty event, was  held recently in Lagos.

The Brand Manager, Malta Guinness and Non-Alcoholic Drinks, Guinness Nigeria Plc, Ifeoma Agu,  who made the remarks at the event, explained that  Malta Herbs Lite provides opportunity for the consumers to have a Malt drink that helps maintain a healthier lifestyle by virtue of its low sugar formulation, in tune with the new classifications by industry regulators on sugar content for malt drinks.

“Malta Guinness Herbs Lite is the first truly Light sugar malt in Nigeria that delivers less sugar than most other malt drinks. When the opportunity to partner the organizers of the FitFamFest came up, we gladly embraced it to further show that we have truly responded to the recent NAFDAC/SON statute prescribing new guidelines for low, light and regular malt drinks,” she stated.

Tagged Healthy Fun for Everyone, the first-ever Fitfam Fest, sponsored by Malta Guinness Herbs Lite had  top-notch trainers, fitness enthusiasts and Malta Guinness Herbs Lite Brand Ambassador, Basketmouth and Chef Eros of Cookie Jar, converging to throw out an array of fitness and beauty activities.
