Happy times are here again for Peterson Akolo, founder of the popular P Clothing brand as he bagged the 40 Under 40 CEO Award. The award, organized by Young Entrepreneurs International Summit (YEIS), a gathering of outstanding young entrepreneurs and persons from various parts of the globe.
The summit is aimed at bringing together Young Business Leaders in Nigeria and Africa at large who have continually helped reshaped global economy and contributed to the agenda of the United Nations.
He was said to have been considered for the award for his achievement as a CEO and business leadership and impact in the Nigeria economy.
The event which held at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos State, witnessed the presence of popular CEOs across Africa and Nigeria as they were honoured for their outstanding contribution towards the growth of the African economy.
Speaking about the honour, Akolo described the award as step in the right direction, one that would further propel him to keep giving back to the African society, particularly Nigeria where his business has enjoyed heavy patronage.
“I am humbled by this award. Rubbing shoulders with top CEOs across Africa could only mean that I am doing something better in my little corner. The success story of what we do at P Clothing is being told on a bigger platform as Young Entrepreneurs International Summit and I am truly excited. This will push us to do more for humanity,” he said.
